The PastureMap team is excited to share our first update since joining the Soilworks family. As many of our readers know PastureMap allows ranchers to document their planned moves throughout the season. Previously ranchers were unable to edit herd movements after locking in their grazing plan. Our new update allows ranchers to be more flexible with their movements via a "Drag and Drop feature"
As we know, sometimes weather, miscalculations, and other factors can affect the available forage on pastures in between seasons. The ability to adjust moves on the fly is a big part of successful forage management. The ability to drag and drop allows ranchers to switch their planned moves without having to recreate their grazing plans. PastureMap will also automatically update and re-order your grazing plan based on your movements, this means you can quickly and easily test the impact of herd movements before putting them into place.
We are excited to provide you with a new tool to ensure your grazing plans can stay updated no matter what life throws at you. To learn more about the new "Drag and Drop" functionality check out the video below.
